Marla won the Bernina Machine Workmanship Award
at the Paducah Quilt Show in April, 2007.
This prestigious award is a purchase award, meaning this quilt is now
owned by The American Quilter's Society
and will hang in the Museum
in Paducah, KY, as a permanent exhibit!
That is very exciting!

| The quilt, titled "Buckskin", is made from 862 Folk Art
and 270 Ochre from the Cherrywood
Collection. The masterpiece is beautifully machine quilted in an
asymmetrical design that you have to see to believe. |

| We got to meet Marla just hours after she found out she was a winner.
She was just overwhelmed and gracious, and happy as could be! She was
so excited that she got her very own "star" chair with her name on it
as frosting on the cake! Congratulations, Marla!
